A Butler woman is facing charges after allegedly hitting her fiancée with an aluminum baseball bat and threatening him with a wooden rolling pin, metal skillet and a butcher’s knife.
According to a criminal complaint, state police responded to the alleged domestic dispute about 7 a.m. Monday morning on Bent Creek Lane in Summit Township.
47-year-old Tammy Duffield of Butler was charged with aggravated assault and placed in the Butler County Prison on $30,000 bail.
Duffield’s fiancée had a lump on his left arm from the bat as well as scratches on the back of his neck. Duffield stated while in custody that she was just trying to scare him.
