The Butler Art Center needs help.
The Associated Artists of Butler County is looking for a volunteer to assist in hanging pieces for the center’s art shows. This position will require physical effort like stretching, bending, lifting and walking. It usually takes a day or two to hang a show. Those interested can call 724-283-6922 and ask for Terry.
The group is also looking for another instructor in their pottery studio. Instructors are paid based on the number of students in each class. Persons interested in this job should be skilled in basic slab work, using the wheel, glazing techniques and proper firing of pieces. Those interested can call 724-283-6922 and ask for Paige.
The area Middle and High School Art Show begins Wednesday and runs through March 26.
