The Butler Transit Authority has received a better than expected reception for their new ConnectCard system.
The authority had a bit of trouble when they rolled out the new cards March 1 but were able to resolve that issue by the next day.
Authority administrators have been pleased with the number of people using the smart cards and terminal staff can now focus on other duties since they no longer need to distribute paper passes.
Riders are reminded to register their cards so that in the event that a card is lost or stolen, a new card can be issued quickly with the correct amount of money loaded onto the card.
