Those wondering about the chemical makeup of their lawn can have soil samples tested beginning Tuesday.
Geneva College is accepting the first 100 garden or lawn samples they receive between Tuesday, March 15 and April 1.
Soil will be tested for pH, potassium content, and phosphorus content. Samples can be dropped off at Geneva’s main campus in Beaver Falls or at the Campbell Laboratory in New Brighton.
The Geneva Chemistry Society accepts a donation of $2 per sample to help cover the costs of analysis. Results will be mailed by the first week of May.
