Friday’s fire at the Worsley’s building in downtown Butler has left several people homeless.
There were seven two-story apartments that sat on top of the former furniture store. Six of those apartments were occupied by ten tenants.
Steve Salamon and Nico Fundark were one of the families that lost everything. The couple lived in an apartment with their one month old baby, Stanley.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist them. You can donate to that fund by clicking here.
The Elks Club in Butler (by Father Marinaro Park) is also taking donations of diapers, formula, clothes and furniture. You’re asked to ring the buzzer and let them know you are dropping stuff off for Steve and Nico.
The family’s sizes are:
Steve’s sizes:
Shirt: XL
Pants: 36×34
Shoe : 14
Nico’s sizes:
Shirt: medium
Pants: size 6
Shoe: size 8
Baby Stanley sizes:
-3-6 months for clothes that have feet attached to them
-Diapers are currently size 1
-Formula: Newborn, gentle on Tummys, any brand.
Everyone living in the upstairs apartments were able to escape safely.
