A wrong-way driver caused an accident Wednesday in Lyndora.
According to Butler Township Police, 72-year-old Charles Uber of Mercer County was driving the wrong way on the one-way section of Route 8 South in Lyndora about noon.
A Butler driver (29-year-old Robert Barkus III) was traveling the correct way on Route 8 and swerved to miss Uber’s car…but crashed into a third car in the process.
Barkus’ vehicle and the third vehicle (driven by 65-year-old Daniel Durst of Mercer County) were not drivable and were towed.
Uber’s vehicle was not damaged. He was cited for driving the wrong way.
No one was hurt.
