The Rotary Dog Park in Cranberry Township’s Community Park has been temporarily closed.
This action has been taken as a precaution due to several reported cases of kennel cough at the park and around the area.
The dog park will be disinfected before re-opening. Butler County is also closing the Alameda Park Dog Park through the month of October to allow for sanitizing and maintenance.
Kennel Cough is a condition that affects the upper respiratory tract of dogs and has symptoms including inflammation of the trachea. The effects of the condition can vary depending on the dog.
Cranberry Rotary’s four acre dog park is located on Route 19 and includes four separate off-leash running areas for large and small dogs.
