The first 12 hours of March were pleasant with mild temperatures and sunshine but things will take a turn for the worse Tuesday evening.
After reaching a high near 60, temperatures are expected to fall overnight and a rain/snow mixture will make its way into the area.
The winds will also pick up, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a Wind Advisory for Tuesday evening. The advisory will go into effect at 6 p.m. Tuesday and last through 5 a.m. Wednesday. Gusts as high as 50 miles per hour are expected.
Wednesday brings a chance of snow showers early with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 29.
