An investigation into cheating at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy has effectively forced out 29 cadets.
State Police Commissioner Tyree Blocker addressed the scandal before the Senate Appropriations Committee Wednesday.
“We’ve left no stone un-turned,” Blocker said. “We’ve taken very affirmative, investigative steps with senior investigative personnel to bring some conclusion to this investigation.”
Blocker didn’t say what led to the investigation, but did say it was self-initiated.
The 29 cadets were either dismissed or they resigned. They were part of the 144th cadet class scheduled to graduate in March.
