The City of Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds and Facilities Authority is considering lowering the cost of renting Kelly Automotive Field.
Chairman Nick Ban formed a committee at Monday night’s meeting to investigate and recommend a realistic fee structure. It currently costs $3,000 to rent the former Pullman Park for a day.
Butler City Councilman Corey Roche, who is Director of the Parks Department for the city, attended the meeting and agreed to be on the committee.
The authority is expected to vote on the change at their March meeting.
