One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after crashing her car in Manor Township, Armstrong County late Saturday night.
According to the Kittanning State Police, an unidentified 29-year-old Kittanning woman was driving her SUV westbound on route 422 just after 11pm when she side swiped another vehicle heading the same direction.
Authorities say that the driver then lost control of her car, and crashed into numerous roadway signs before rolling her car several times. The driver then tried to flee the scene on foot, but was found by the State Police about 300 yards away from her vehicle in the fetal position.
Officials say that the driver had superficial cuts to her head, in addition to being intoxicated. She was flown to an unspecified UPMC Hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing, and charges have not been filed.
