The City of Butler is offering free metered parking for a day this weekend.
Executive Director of Parking Jimmy Chiprean and Mayor Tom Donaldson announced that motorists will not pay to park at any metered space downtown on Saturday, Feb. 20.
The decision was made in order to encourage people to visit Butler County’s first-ever Ice Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
‘Butler Carved In Ice’ is sponsored by the Butler AM Rotary.
