A former Verizon Wireless call center in Cranberry Township will soon become the new headquarters for logistics company Genco.
The company announced Monday it will move into 100,000-square foot space in the Cranberry Woods business park. Company reps say they simply outgrew their Allegheny County offices.
Genco was acquired by FedEx last year. It’s not known if the company will be hiring after the move is made.
About 600 customer service employees were laid off when Verizon closed their call center in 2014.
