Brendan LeFevre from Butler high school was the runner-up Thursday in the WPIAL Individual Rifle Championship held at the Dormont-Mt. Lebanon Sportsmen’s Club.
The Knoch Knights will meet Montour tonight in the WPIAL Triple-A Basketball Preliminary Round. Game time is 8pm at Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic high school. The game can be heard on WISR 680am and at wisr680.com with Scott Briggs beginning at 7:50pm.
Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic will face Winchester Thurston in a Single-A first round game tonight at 8pm. The game will be played at North Hills high school.
The Seneca Valley Girls will meet Bethel Park tonight at North Catholic prior to the Knoch Boys game. Tip-off is 6:30pm.
Saturday, the Butler Boys will meet Penn Hills in the Quad-A first round at North Allegheny high school. Tip-off is noon. Hear the game on WBUT 1050am and at wbut.com with Tyler Friel beginning at 11:50am.
Also Saturday: Pine-Richland will meet Norwin at Fox Chapel high school for a noon tip-off.
