The Butler Track & Field traveled Sunday to the University of Mt Union Open. The Golden Tornado had quite an array of impressive performances and was led by Emily Horstman and the 4×200 meter relay team of Horstman, Odile Enslen, Maddie Glew and Shana Hoy. The relay team finished in 1st place while Horstman placed 3rd in the 60 meter dash and 3rd in the 200. Horstman time of 8.00 in the 60 bettered the state qualifying standard of 8.04. The 4×400 relay team of Odile Enslen, Shanha Hoy, Kelly Kabay and Maddie Tonini also placed first
Butler also had another 4×400 relay team of Maggie Hohn, Liz Simms, Cienna Tonini and Erin LeMay place second. Michaela Brydon placed second in the 3200 meters Liz Simms 3rd in the 1600 meters, Alexis Leech 3rd in the 400 meters, Maggie Hohn 4th in the long jump and Abby Boyle 4th in the 800 meters.
