The Pennsylvania State Police is investigating allegations of cheating at its academy in Hershey.
The internal investigation centers on whether members of the cadet class scheduled to graduate in March were given information about questions on an academic exam by members of a class that had recently graduated, according to sources. An academy instructor reportedly discovered the alleged cheating and reported it.
A state police spokesperson could not confirm whether an active probe was underway but stressed that cheating is not tolerated.
Of the 88 cadets set to graduate next month, it’s thought up to 40 may have been involved in the scandal.
