A Butler couple has been charged after police say they left a 2-year-old child unattended while they used heroin.
According to Butler Township Police, 29-year-old Justin Bruce and 28-year-old Missy Emerick allegedly left the toddler unattended in the living room of an apartment on Old Plank Road Saturday and went to the bedroom to use heroin.
It’s unclear if the 2-year-old was their child or if they were watching the child for someone else.
Both face numerous charges.
