Carrie Underwood‘s Storyteller tour will allow the superstar to meet with military families as a way of giving back. Carrie has joined forces with Carnival Cruise Line and Operation Homefront as part of the newly created year-long Honor. Family. Fun. program which will help raise funds for Operation Homefront. Carrie will meet with military families on 10 stops on the Storytellertour. Videos highlighting the meet & greets and the families’ individual stories will be featured on carnival.com/HonorFamilyFun.
At a press conference yesterday (Thursday, January 28th), Carrie said, “I’m honored to be able to join Carnival Cruise Line and Operation Homefront to lift up these soldiers and their families. I am really looking forward to meeting them on my tour and for the opportunity to personally thank them for all they do for our freedom.”
Carrie will perform a concert in support of Carnival’s ‘Honor. Family. Fun.’ program and to honor military families on November 4th in the Port of New York City aboard the new cruise ship Carnival Vista. She will also perform aboard select Carnival ships in 2017.
