A Kittanning man is in jail after leading police on a chase.
State Police say they attempted to pull over 25-year-old Nicholas Beck early Monday (about 12:45 a.m.) for running a stop sign on Pine Hill Road in West Kittanning, Armstrong County. Beck took off and a police pursuit followed from Pine Hill Road onto Butler Road.
Beck was taken into custody on Yellow Dog Road in West Franklin Township. Authorities believe he was under the influence of drugs. They also found he was wanting for violating parole.
He remains in the Armstrong County Jail on $10,000 bond.
