A Geneva College student was killed in a weekend car crash in Butler County.
Freshman engineering student Nate Ferraco, 18, of Penn Hills, was in a car with three other students Saturday night when they got into an accident. Two other students were hospitalized but have since been released. A fourth student was not hurt.
Ferraco and the four other students all played soccer at Geneva and attended a soccer banquet Saturday night and then played an indoor soccer league game in Butler County before hitting ice and crashing on their way back to campus, according to the university.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding the crash, including the exact location.
