The Pittsburgh Penguins meet the Philadelphia Flyers for the first time this season tonight at the Consol Energy Center. Face-off is 7:08pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am is 6:30pm. Since the opening of the Consol Energy Center as the Penguins home ice, Philadelphia holds a 13-2-1 record against the Pens.
The Penguins are 21-17-7 overall, and currently two points from a playoff spot. The Flyers are three points out at 20-16-8.
The Pens play back-to-back 12:30pm games Saturday and Sunday. It appears winger Beau Bennett will return to the line-up from an injury this weekend.
