A man from Kittanning is facing several charges after he’s accused of firing a gun at two people following an argument.
The alleged incident happened Wednesday night in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.
State police allege 30-year-old Adam Long got into a verbal argument with a male and female. During the argument, he’s accused of picking up a 9-mm semi-automatic handgun and firing five to 10 shots into the street in the direction of the two victims.
The duo told police they got in their car to drive away and as they did, Long allegedly fired another shot towards them that left a hole in their vehicle’s bumper.
Long allegedly then followed the victims down the road. The victims were driving to meet police at a nearby municipal building to report the incident.
Long was apprehended near his house.
