A Saxonburg man has been charged with allegedly assaulting two police officers.
According to Butler State Police, 23-year-old Cory Alter was nearly doubling the speed limit while traveling on Route 28 in Allegheny County back in November. Police pulled Wendell over and found he was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
When the officer attempted to arrest Wendell, he allegedly resisted and then assaulted two Tarentum Police Department Officers who were helping state police at the scene.
Charges were filed Tuesday.
