The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking for local sportsmans clubs that are willing to raise pheasant chicks into adults.
The day-old chicks will be provided free of charge by the commission to organizations with approved facilities.
All expenses incurred raising the chicks will be the responsibility of the club making application. Also, all pheasants raised must be released onto lands open for public hunting.
Applications are due March 31. For more information, visit the commission’s website at pgc.state.pa.us.
