Police are continuing to search for two of three suspects accused of stealing from a home in Middlesex Township.
The alleged incident happened in early July at a residence on Browns Hill Road while the family that lives there was on vacation. It’s believe this home was targeted.
Middlesex Township Police believe three men stole over $10,000 worth of items from the home, including electronics, guitars, and a large Coke bottle coin bank that contained hundreds of dollars worth of change.
Police say they found surveillance video of the men cashing in the coins at the change machine at the Butler Walmart. A search warrant was issued for one of the men’s homes on Monday morning. Police arrested 27-year-old Anthony Parrotta of Kittanning but a second suspect- identified as 23-year-old Brandon Dolan of Center Township- was able to get away.
Police identified the third suspect only as “RJ.” He has not been located.
Parrotta allegedly told police that some of the items taken in the burglary were pawned, but others were able to be recovered by authorities.
