Trisha Yearwood will try her hand at a live TV musical when she plays the role of Mary, the mother of Jesus, in The Passion. The two-hour broadcast is set to air on FOX on Palm Sunday, which is March 20th.
Tyler Perry has been tapped to host and narrate the special, which will reportedly air from various locations around New Orleans. Singer-songwriter Prince Royce will star as Peter the apostle.
