A local couple is in jail following a domestic dispute that allegedly turned violent.
Joseph Mayo, 53, and Jeanine Byerly, 45, allegedly assaulted each other with weapons at a West Jefferson Street home (in Butler City) Friday night. Mayo was reported to be suffering from a stab wound to his face.
Both were charged with aggravated assault and simple assault.
