The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 5-0 Sunday at the Consol Energy Center. Sidney Crosby scored two goals in the game and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all 22 Carolina shots on goal. The Pens moved to within one point of a playoff spot with the win. They visit St. Louis tonight. Face-off is 8pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am is 7:30pm.
The Penguins traded for left winger Carl Hagelin over the weekend sending David Perron to Anaheim. Hagelin had played for the New York Rangers last season.
