Nine people were arrested in a big drug bust over the weekend.
The suspects were part of a suspected drug crew from Ohio who were allegedly dealing crack cocaine and heroin in Butler County.
The arrests happened Friday evening following two separate drug raids at two Butler apartments- one on East Locust Street and the other on West North Street.
Of the nine defendants, two are from Butler County (33-year-old Katie Defonde and 37-year-old David Robertson Jr.). Two other suspects are from Ellwood City. The remaining five are from Ohio.
Investigators seized more than $7,000 in cash, 11 grams of suspected crack, three grams of heroin, drug-packaging materials and cell phones, according to court documents.
