A Butler County man was injured early Monday morning when his motorcycle collided with a deer.
The accident happened about 5:15 a.m. on Route 308 (West Sunbury Road) in Cherry Township, in front of the Moniteau Jr.- Sr. High School
State police said 70-year-old Ronald McKissick of Butler was traveling north on his Yamaha V Star when his bike struck a deer.
McKissick was able to drive into the school parking lot, where he then called for help.
Police say he was wearing a helmet and suffered minor injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.
