The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Butler is putting their office building up for sale.
A a meeting Thursday, the authority’s board directed former executive director Art Cordwell to determine the price and best method of sale to be asked for the property at 115 East Cunningham Street.
The building is located across the street from the new Centre City project. The authority is currently leasing two offices in the building to the construction company and developer of the project. The authority paid over $92,000 for the building in 2013.
The authority expects to move their offices to a location to be determined by the city sometime over the next several months.
