A local business is closing after 58 years.
A spokesman for Trader Horn has announced that the privately held company will be closing their seven stores around the area over the next several months.
Liquidation of all inventory will begin in mid-February and likely last for many weeks. The recent health issues of local owner Bob Greenberger were cited as the reason behind the decision to close.
Managers were informed of the closure Monday. The three Trader Horn stores in Butler, as well as ones in Eau Claire, Clarion, Ellwood City, and Kittanning employ a total of about 200 people.
