The Butler Transit Authority has awarded the bid to replace the wash bay heater at their bus garage.
At a monthly meeting Tuesday night (11/10), the authority’s Board of Directors awarded the work to Cunningham Shanor who submitted the lowest bid of $2,800.
The former wash bay heater was installed when the building was constructed in 2011 but has corroded to the point where it is no longer able to be used.
Work began on the replacement Tuesday and is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
