Emergency crews have been busy around the Butler County area this afternoon due to weather related accidents.
The first was called in around 12:30 p.m. for an accident with injuries on Lindsay Road in Jackson Township. Units from Zelienople responded and were able to clear the scene in about a half hour.
Next, Saxonburg first responders were called to a crash on Freeport Road in Jefferson Township shortly before 1 p.m. Two vehicles were involved and at least two people were injured.
Finally, crews were called back out in Jackson Township around 1:30 p.m. for an accident that delayed traffic for a time on Interstate 79.
