Keith Urban has announced his new Ripcord World Tour 2016, kicking off on June 2nd, in Kansas City, Missouri and playing in more than 50 shows in amphitheaters and arenas throughout the U.S. Keith will be joined by Brett Eldredge and special guest Maren Morris. Tickets will go on sale in select markets beginning on January 29th.
Keith said, “I’m seriously chomping at the bit to kick off this tour. We’ll be playing a lot of new music from Ripcord, all new production, new cities where we’ve never played . . . and Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris? It’s gonna be potent and unbridled!!!”
Some firsts for Keith on the Ripcord tour are cities like Youngstown (Ohio), Lincoln (Nebraska), Orange Beach (Alabama), Bloomington (Illinois) and Myrtle Beach (South Carolina).
Brett Eldgredge said, “I was a Keith Urban fan long before I ever got this music thing going. He is an absolute powerhouse on stage – unlike anyone I’ve ever seen and to top it all off, one of the most down to earth people I know! The Ripcord tour is gonna be on fire! Get ready!”
Maren Morris added, “When I was asked to join Keith on tour, I was floored. I’ve personally been a fan of his for as long as I can remember. This is my first tour at this level, and I can’t think of a more respected writer, artist, and musician to join for it. It’s going to be an absolute blast!”
Keith’s Ripcord World Tour 2016 will debut on the heels of his soon to be released eighth studio album release of the same name, which has already produced two singles – his Grammy nominated, 19th Number One song, “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” and its second single “Break On Me.”
