Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict has been suspended for the first three games of the 2016 season for his hit on Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown Saturday in their AFC Wild Card game. The suspension is the result of Burfict being a repeat offender. He has been fined four times by the NFL for dangerous hits.
Brown is going through concussion protocol this week, and his status for Sunday’s Divisional game in Denver is unknown. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a shoulder sprain, and is expected to play. The Steelers are six point underdogs in the game.
