The Butler County Chamber of Commerce has hired an executive director.
Jordan Grady will begin his work on Monday. He will work under Chamber President Stan Kosciuszko and help the organization “meet the growing needs of the business community throughout Butler County.”
The chamber contracted with the Alliance for Nonprofit Resources to hire Grady as a loaned executive. The board president says this will enable the chamber to affordably and efficiently expand its services and reach.
In a news release, Kosciuszko said Grady will work on a contractual basis to provide oversight of membership recruitment and retention, along with coordination and expansion of benefit and sponsorship opportunities for members. To increase the online presence and offerings of the chamber, Grady will also be working to develop more social media outreach, enhance communication, and expand the chamber’s online capabilities.
“Jordan has already been a positive energy on our board of directors, our events and our programs. He has led the Young Professionals to record membership and activities, and it will be exciting for our membership to reap the benefits of his enthusiasm and inventiveness. Engaging Jordan as a loaned executive will allow both him and our organization to explore our future together,” Kosciuszko said.
A graduate of Slippery Rock University, Grady received his Master of Business Administration in 2016 and was a member of the Men’s Basketball Team. He is a graduate of Leadership Butler County and is the Vice President and Membership Chair of the Butler AM Rotary Club. Jordan is a member of the Board of Directors YWCA of Butler, Butler County Youth Leadership Program, and the Butler Cubs Athletic and Social Association.
“I am excited to work with Stan Kosciuszko and the Butler County Chamber of Commerce as they launch into the future,” Grady said in a statement. “Stan has played a pivotal role in my professional development and I am fortunate I get to work with him on a day to day basis. I look forward to interacting with such an accomplished organization with wonderful members.”
