Pittsburgh-based GNC announced it will close up to 900 stores nationwide.
The vitamin and supplement company confirmed the move during a second-quarter earnings call with analysts this week.
The company’s CFO said the number of GNC stores in malls would likely be cut in half.
There are at least two GNC locations in Butler- one inside the Clearview Mall in Center Township and another at Moraine Point Plaza in Butler Township.
