A Butler road closure could affect many peoples’ commutes Monday morning, and according to PennDOT, the closure may last for a couple weeks.
Mercer Road is expected to be closed from Mercer Street in the City of Butler to Aubrey’s Drive (the entrance to Aubrey’s Golf Course) in Center Township beginning Monday and lasting through Friday, August 2.
Crews will be working to repair damage caused by an embankment failure and to stabilize the road’s shoulder.
