A man critically injured in a Franklin Township crash last weekend has died.
According to State Police, 54-year-old Bruce Rankin of Emlenton died Wednesday at UPMC Presbyterian after being flown there with injuries he suffered in a two vehicle accident Saturday night (1/2).
Rankin was a passenger in a vehicle that was hit near the intersection of Routes 488 and 422. The driver, 60-year-old Pauline Rankin, was not hurt. The other driver, 52-year-old Daniel Deighan of Cranberry, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital with moderate injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
