A few downtown Butler residents will be affected by a planned electrical outage Wednesday morning.
According to a spokesman for West Penn Power, about a dozen customers on South Main Street and West Vogely Street will be without power from about 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Crews will be replacing a cross arm at the top of a utility pole on West Vogely and power needs to be shut off in the area to facilitate the repairs.
The pole was apparently damaged during a period of high winds last week.
