Pittsburgh Steelers running back De’Angelo Williams does not have structural damage to his ankle following a Monday MRI. Williams’ status for Saturday’s playoff game is still unknown. The game with Cincinnati that has an 8:15pm kick-off and can be heard on WISR beginning with the pre-game at 6:15pm.
New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin resigned Monday. The 69-year old Coughlin won two Super Bowls in his 12 years with the Giants.
In Indianapolis, Chuck Pagano will remain head coach with a new four-year deal.
Mike McCoy is also remaining as head coach of the San Diego Chargers.
The San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and St. Louis Rams filed last night to relocate to the Los Angeles area, all wanting to be the team that returns the NFL to L.A. after 21 years. The Chargers want to team up with the Raiders on a stadium. The owners are expected to vote next week on whether to allow any of the teams to move, with approval required from 24 of the 32 owners.
