A Butler County man is in jail on trespassing charges after he hung out inside a Karns City home New Year’s Eve that wasn’t his.
Police say 28-year-old Joshua Frey admitted to entering a home in the 100-block of Main Street in Karns City.
Once inside, Frey allegedly turned the home’s furnace up to 90 degrees, used an upstairs toilet and left it unflushed and used the stove to heat up pizza.
Police found Frey’s debit card on the kitchen floor which led to his arrest. He reportedly told police he had been drinking and isn’t allowed to go home when he is drunk.
A couple recently bought the home and were planning to move in.
