Despite being part of one of the most talked about divorces of the year, Blake Shelton says 2015 was pretty good! The superstar recently told radio show host Lon Helton, “All the awful things that happened in my personal life this year, but the way the year has ended is also the greatest year in my life.”
As we know, Blake’s year ended with a new romance with his The Voice co-star Gwen Stefani.
Blake added, “I better not talk about that just yet, but sometimes you don’t know who’s in your life that can save you. I found some people in my life that have changed my life forever. Some has been bad and some that’s been pretty good. I’m doing what I’m supposed to do, and that’s put all I’ve gone through and put it into music, and I never felt more connected to a record before. When people hear this record, they may not know what happened to me, but they’re gonna know how I felt about it. And that’s exciting for me, to just lay it out there for people.”
There’s no word yet on when fans can expect Blake’s new album to be in stores.

In addition to writing a song for the upcoming The Angry Birds Movie, Blake Shelton voices one of the pigs in the film, what Entertainment Weekly describes as a “country-fried pork chop” named Earl.
Blake told the publication, “They kept saying, ‘More country!’ I felt like I was doing a voice-over for Dukes of Hazzard.”
Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, and Danny McBride also lent their voices to the animated film, which arrives in theaters on May 20th.
Blake adds that he was already a fan of the Angry Birds game saying, “I wish I had a dollar for every minute I lost playing that freaking game, you know? Well, I guess I do now.”
