A Butler man has been arrested after officials say he left the scene of an accident on Saturday.
According to Butler Township Police, 23-year-old Brian Sharpe’s vehicle collided with another car at the intersection of Staley Avenue and Duffy Road close to 7:30pm. After the accident, Sharpe left the scene but was later identified.
Sharpe said he lost control of the vehicle while driving southbound along South Duffy Road and crossed into the oncoming lane just before the crash. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and both drivers were treated for minor injuries.
Sharpe was arrested for leaving the scene and was placed in the Butler County Jail.
