The 7th Annual Band Jam Grass Roots Music Festival was a great success, as many turned out to Cooper’s Lake Campground in Slippery Rock to celebrate local music.
The two day event began on Friday (July 12th), and featured 20 local acts. The annual Grassy Award was presented to Amanda Noah and James Graff for their song “Steady Love.” The fan voting took place over the course of a month.
The festival was created to commemorate the yearly anniversary of the Grass Roots Show, which highlights local artists every Sunday evening at 7pm on Butler Radio’s The Rock Station 97.7 FM.
