A local school high school basketball team recently raised over $6,000 for Make-A-Wish earlier this month.
The Knoch Boys Basketball team raised a total of $6,358 through various donations from the school community during a three week period. The team’s initial goal for the fundraiser was $3,900.
The school district website says that Make-A-Wish hopes to grant a wish during Knoch’s home basketball game on Tuesday, January 12th against local rival Freeport.
