A Kittanning man is in jail after allegedly shooting at an occupied parked vehicle outside an Armstrong County church.
State Police the incident happened about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the Union Baptist Church parking lot in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County, near the Butler County line.
23-year-old Anthony Parrotta allegedly fired three shots at a Jeep Wrangler, hitting the vehicle twice. There were two people inside the Jeep but no one was hit with gunfire. No one was hurt.
Authorities say Parrotta and the woman inside the Jeep, a 25-year-old from Kittanning, were involved in a domestic dispute earlier that morning at their home. Police say the woman suffered a minor laceration on her face and left the residence.
Some time later that morning, the woman’s brother, a 23-year-old Kittanning man, arranged to meet Parrotta at the church parking lot. When Parrotta arrived, he allegedly began firing at the brother’s Jeep.
Parrotta was taken to the Armstrong County Jail and faces a long list of charges.
