The Butler Boys’ basketball team was defeated by AAAA Section 3 rival North Allegheny on Tuesday by the score 87-70.
Curtis Aiken had a dominating performance to lead North Allegheny, scoring 41 points in the game to lead all scorers. Keegan Phillips scored 16 as NA’s second leading scorer. Leading the way for Butler in scoring was Joel Stutz, who put up 23 points, followed by Tyler Frederick with 17 points.
Butler falls to 5-3 overall and 2-2 inside Section 3, as North Allegheny improves to 5-2 overall and maintain their perfect record inside Section 3 at 3-0.
Butler will be participating in the Peter Sauer Memorial tournament at Shady Side over Christmas break, but will not be covered on the air. Butler is back in action and on the air on January 7th, 2016 at Burrell, pregame beginning with Tyler Friel at 7:15pm on WBUT 1050 AM.
