Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams will donate funds to Butler Memorial Hospital to cover the cost of 53 mammograms through his foundation, the DeAngelo Williams Foundation.
Williams is a strong supporter of breast cancer awareness. In 2014, his mother died after battling breast cancer. She was 53 years old. He also lost four aunts to the disease.
Williams is expected to stop in Butler Tuesday to present the check to Dr. Ronald Cypher of Advanced OB-GYN Associates, which is located next door to Butler Memorial.
His foundation has also covered the cost of 53 mammograms at hospitals in Memphis, Tennessee, Charlotte, North Carolina and Pittsburgh.
